About Threaded Studio
We're passionate about bringing Scandinavian design sensibility to the world of machine embroidery. Every pattern is crafted with care, precision, and a deep love for the craft.
Our Story
Threaded Studio was born in 2019 from a small home office in Stockholm, Sweden. What started as a hobby — digitizing embroidery designs for family and friends — quickly grew into something much larger when other crafters began asking where they could find such clean, elegant patterns.
Unlike mass-produced designs, every Threaded Studio pattern is hand-digitized from original artwork. We obsess over stitch angles, density, and color placement to ensure each design stitches out beautifully on home machines, multi-needle machines, and commercial equipment alike.
Our aesthetic is deeply influenced by Scandinavian design principles: simplicity, functionality, and natural beauty. We believe embroidery should feel modern and timeless, not dated or overly ornate. This philosophy guides every design we create.

Our Design Process
Concept & Sketch
Every design begins with hand-drawn sketches and mood boards. We study nature, textiles, and traditional Scandinavian motifs for inspiration.
Digital Illustration
Sketches are refined into clean digital artwork, carefully balancing detail with stitch-ability.
Expert Digitizing
Each element is manually digitized with precise stitch pathing, density adjustments, and underlay for optimal results.
Testing & Refinement
Designs are stitched out on multiple machines and fabrics. We refine until every version is perfect.
Format Conversion
Final designs are exported to all major embroidery formats with optimized settings for each file type.
